Since graduating from University of South Florida in which he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Gary Bayne has been designing and supervising construction projects which include commercial developments, roads and airport land use issues. He also provides cost estimates for potential clients and overseas project deadlines.
His firm, Southwest Engineering and Design, is currently working with Tetra Tech to design the site layout for the City of Punta Gorda’s reverse osmosis water treatment facility. The multi-phase project will include site permitting through federal, regional, and local water quality and water management agency involved in reverse-osmosis project. A seasoned field engineer and supervisor, he resolves construction conflicts and performs final QA/QC.
